Is Internet of Things really a Web 2.0 technology?
I
have come to the conclusion that Internet of Things doesn’t necessarily fit
into Web 2.0 but rather goes along with it and more so pushes its limits.Web 2.0 primarily deals with people using the
Web to make connections with others.However, Internet of Things uses the Internet to make connections
between people and objects or even objects with other objects.Actually it seems even more fitting for
Internet of Things to be part of what may be emerging as Web 3.0.This runs with the idea of the Internet
making connections with information.It
is almost as if Web 3.0 would be considered an IoT itself.
